PETER M. DEEB, CHAIRMAN & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
As founder and Chairman of Hampton Securities, Mr. Deeb has spent the last 25 years growing the firm into a leading investment dealer in Canada. He has built a career developing proprietary investment strategies for individual and institutional clients. He also brings with him a wealth of international markets experience and operational skills derived from years spent as an entrepreneur in a number of industries, including energy, shipping, real-estate, and finance. Mr. Deeb has previously served as Chairman of the Ontario District Counsel of IIROC and as Chairman of its National Advisory Board as well. In December 2019, Mr. Deeb was appointed by the Premiere of Ontario as Chairman of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
MIKE DEEB JR., VICE CHAIRMAN
Mr. Deeb has been with the firm since 1999, joining us from Merrill Lynch (Canada). He heads up the firm’s Private Wealth Management strategy bringing his 22 years of industry experience to the firm’s advisors and clients. He remains as an active investment advisor with a large clientele, serving us well as a source of new investment ideas and strategies.
HAIDAR FLAHAT – CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Haidar joined Hampton Securities Limited in 2022 and is responsible for HSL’s compliance functions which include identifying areas of regulatory and business risks. Haidar also provide leadership and support to compliance professionals serving national interests for HSL. Haidar’s career in the financial service industry began in 1997 when he joined TD Bank Investment Services where he gained extensive trading experience, risk management and regulatory knowledge through managing different specialty desks and high value clients. Over the years, Haidar has held multiple senior management and compliance roles including CCO for Worldsource Securities Inc. and led the national branch manager compliance and risk team at TD Wealth Financial Planning. During his tenure, he gained insight and experience in compliance oversight and the management of operational risk for businesses operating in a regulated environment.
OLGA JURAVLEV – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from York University, and achieving a designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant, Ms. Juravlev would go on to hold a number of roles in public practice with several Toronto based accounting firms. After joining Hampton in 2021, Ms. Juravlev would go on to serve as Chief Financial Officer as of April 2022, and today, continues to serve in this capacity. Olga oversees the firm’s financial, accounting, regulatory, and reporting functions on a day to day basis.
ALINA KOROVYAKOVSKA, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – OPERATIONS
Ms. Korovyakovska serves as Senior Vice President, Operations for Hampton Securities, where she leads a service team that supports our growing wealth management and finance groups. She brings 10 years of experience and leadership that have been focused on developing and delivering technology-driven business solutions, implementing strategic plans for service excellence, and providing further support to the management team and the Board. Ms. Korovyakovska holds a degree in Banking and Wealth Management from Pilon School of Business (Sheridan College).
